Aston Villa’s managerial position has become the latest vacancy in the job market and it appears to have attracted plenty of interest.
The Paraguay international manager, who has only been in the job for a month, is thought to be very interested in the hot-seat at Villa Park and would love the opportunity to manage the Championship outfit.
Osorio only left his role as Mexico’s head coach at the end of the summer, following an impressive World Cup, to take over at the South Americans, however, the chance to head to England appears too good for him to turn down.
Villa are looking for a new manager after sacking Steve Bruce on Wednesday. The Villans have managed to win just one of their last ten competitive league games, leaving the club near the bottom of the table.
Osorio’s name will come as a real surprise especially considering that he has not been at Paraguay for longer than a month yet.
However, the 57-year-old could prove to be an excellent appointment for the Villans as he has plenty of experience with working at a top level.
With the news that Bruce has left still being fresh, the Championship outfit are likely to have a number of names interested and it remains to be seen just who they bring in to try and turn things around.
