Aston Villa were a huge disappointment under Steve Bruce in the current campaign as they currently find themselves in the bottom half of the table.
The Villains would have set their sights on promotion to the Premier League prior to the start of the current campaign, but they’ll struggle to even challenge for the play-offs after the start they’ve made. Although, they did receive some positive news recently, as according to Keinan Davis’ personal Twitter account, surgery went well and he is hoping to be back playing in no time.
Sadly, the 20-year-old is yet to make a competitive appearance this season due to a long-standing groin problem, in what has been a nightmare campaign so far.
But, the youngster hopes that his road to recovery is nearly complete.
“Surgery went well today, just hoping I’ll be back in no time and playing football,”
Keinan Davis showed plenty of potential during his time in the first team at Villa Park under Steve Bruce, but his current injury has halted his progress in recent times.
So, Dean Smith’s reign has gotten off to a good start with the forward stating that his surgery went well and that he hopes to be back playing in no time, so the Villa boss could have another attacking outlet at his disposal.
