Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern have got big smiles on their faces at the moment and you can certainly understand why.
The Villans have been through some of the worst days in their recent history at least over the last few seasons but things, at last, look to be turning a corner.
Indeed, Steve Bruce looks to have got the players at the club performing how he wants them and that can only be a good thing as they aim to challenge for promotion next season.
The momentum building for that, though, looks to already be going on with the club in fine form at the moment – something they added to last night against QPR.
For sure, it wasn’t the easiest win in the world as they managed a 1-0 victory but the three points is all that matters with the likes of Henri Lansbury referring to how hard the match was on Twitter:
The grind is real well done boys

There’s clearly a fighting spirit in the squad now, though, and many Villa fans will be delighted to see that.
