Mixed news on the injury front for Aston Villa as they gear up for Hull City

Aston Villa fans here in the Tavern are desperate for their side to secure an automatic promotion place, as many believe that another season in the Championship would be a disaster.

The Villains have been poor in recent games as they look to have thrown away any chances of automatic promotion, with two successive defeats against Queens Park Rangers and Bolton Wanderers in their last two outings. Although, many of our local residents received some positive news ahead of kick-off later on today, as according to Aston Villa’s official Twitter account, Neil Taylor, Axel Tuanzebe and Alan Hutton are all fit, although today’s game may come too soon for Glenn Whelan.

Aston Villa have struggled with injuries in recent times but it now appears that things have taken a turn for the better, as Glenn Whelan may be the only player that today’s game comes too soon for.

Indeed, this is incredible news for Aston Villa at a crucial time as they go on in search of promotion to the Premier League, with a fully strengthened side giving them the best possible chance. And, with Hull City winning two of their last three Championship matches, Steve Bruce will be happy to welcome nearly everyone back as they’ll look to return to winning ways.

Landlord’s Verdict:

Aston Villa will certainly be delighted with Taylor, Hutton and Tuanzebe’s return, after losing their last couple of Championship matches due to defensive errors. So, the Villains will have no excuses in their next match against Hull City, as many of our local residents are now expecting nothing less than three points.
