Aston Villa’s Orjan Nyland is thought to be out for the rest of the season following the Achilles injury he sustained in training at the turn of the year.
The 28-year-old Norway international was forced to undergo an operation to repair the damage and has since been forced to sit on the sidelines.
However, it appears he is edging his way back to a return and has provided fans with a huge video update.
Taking to Instagram, Nyland posted a video showing him back in the gym at the club’s training ground as he continues his slow road to recovery.

The Norwegian was just six months into his spell with The Villans after being signed by Steve Bruce in the summer for a fee thought to be around £2.7million, per Transfermarkt.
The video update that Nyland has shared on Instagram could come as exciting news for Aston Villa fans.
The goalkeeper looks to be ahead of schedule, and although it may still be unlikely, he could return to action in the final stages of the season.
However, the 28-year-old came under fire for a number of his performances during a troubling Championship start for the club and has since seen Lovre Kalinic come into the club and take over as Dean Smith’s number one.
