The Aston Villa fans have been reacting to their club’s mutual agreement to end their relationship with Under Armour. The club has been partnered with Under Armour for the past two years but will now be looking for a new partner to provide the club’s kit for upcoming seasons. Steve Bruce’s side will hope the split won’t impact upon the club’s performances on the field.
Aston Villa can confirm that the club and its technical partner, Under Armour, have mutually decided to end their relationship.

Aston Villa signed an agreement with Under Armour back in the summer of 2016 and had a five-year contract agreed with the company. However, just less than two years on the club have mutually agreed to terminate the contract as they eye up Premier League promotion. Under Armour came in to replace Macron upon the Birmingham club’s relegation from England’s top flight after four years of providing the kit for the club.
The Villains will now be looking for a new provider as they continue to push for promotion, although will most likely have to do so through the playoffs as they sit 4th in the Championship. The Villa Park faithful found themselves in a very promising position as they aimed to rival Cardiff for an automatic promotion place to the Premier League, although back-to-back losses against QPR and Bolton followed by a goalless draw with Hull have killed the Villa fans’ hope of going up automatically, meaning they’ll have to brave the playoffs if they’re to reinstate themselves as top-flight club at the second attempt.

Real shame! Great kits, both quality, fit and design. Liked how we were one of their bigger clubs in UK, unlike with Nike. Wonder who will come in now #avfc
