Forget Cheryl, Abbie or Victoria. Krystell Sidwell is the UK’s most popular WAG. Well, based on results from TV show WAGS boutique! Krystell was chosen as the best of the WAGS in 2007 after her part in the program shown on ITV2. The show made £450,000 for Great Ormond Street. Guess these ladies do have some use in the World other than shopping.

Sidwell married Krystell on 19 June 2005. Within days of returning from their honeymoon, Steve had a tattoo of the wedding vows he had written for Krystell placed on his back. All 100-words of it!

Their first son Harry was born in 2006. His second son Rocko, named after cult boxing film hero Rocky, was born on December 4, 2008 a few days before he scored a goal against Everton in the Barclays Premier League. It was after that goal that the former Chelsea player revealed the early goal particularly took Krystal by surprise.

“I spoke to my wife afterwards and she told me how she’d been holding the baby, when I scored he almost went flying!”

Krystell has also voiced her opinion on the way in which so called WAGS are portrayed.

“Being a Wag is not a negative thing, it's not nice to be singled out like this. The perception of Wags is different to the reality. They are very career-driven, much like their husbands and boyfriends. People judge on the basis of what they see rather than what people are actually doing."

.......yeah right! However, her words in 2008 were fuelled by a comment made by Culture Minister Barbara Follett who claimed young girls were obsessed with becoming famous. Can’t say I disagree with that too much.

Barbie doll or entrepreneur, I think we know who wears the trousers in the Sidwell house-hold!
