Smith must start Bolasie and Adomah against Swansea City

Aston Villa just haven’t been able to ensure consistency in the current campaign, but a managerial change might just do the trick for the Midlands club.

The Villains could still challenge for a play-off spot this season as they’re not that far out of reach, but they will need to identify a winning formula quickly under Dean Smith.

Interestingly, Aston Villa will welcome Swansea City to Villa Park in their next Championship encounter. Graham Potter’s side suffered a defeat prior to the international break, so they’ll be desperate to return to winning ways by spoiling Smith’s welcoming party.

So, Dean Smith must get his team selection right by selecting these TWO Aston Villa stars…

Yannick Bolasie

Yannick Bolasie joined on loan from Premier League side Crystal Palace during the summer transfer window.

The winger wasn’t gifted regular minutes under Steve Bruce but he did manage to grab a late equaliser against Preston North End a couple of weeks back.

It’s vital that Smith puts his faith in the Congo international as he has the ability to create something out of absolutely nothing by utilising his pace and trickery.

Albert Adomah

Albert Adomah has found himself in an unfamiliar position, spending most of his time on the substitutes’ bench this season after a number of established campaigns at Villa Park.

Indeed, the winger has the ability to find the back of the net and is known for creating goals in the claret and blue, so Dean Smith should gift him a starting place to provide him with the opportunity to prove himself under new management.
