When the international break is over and club football returns, Swansea City will face a trip to Villa Park to face the Villains in their first game under Dean Smith. The Swans took to Twitter to announce that they’d sold out their allocation for the Villa Park trip, with a link to the club website, and the fans are buzzing to see that over 2750 Swans will be travelling for the clash.

To get from The Liberty Stadium to Villa Park is a very long journey. The travelling Swansea fans will have to travel over 150 miles to make it to Aston Villa and for the clash to be a 3’oclock kick off makes it even harder for the fans to get there. However, that hasn’t stopped the fans in purchasing their tickets and planning the trip to follow Graham Potter’s Swans, who are currently 11th in the Championship after an inconsistent start.
Beating Villa could be the turning point for Swansea, though, and plenty of fans will back themselves to try and get a result. Villa Park is never an easy ground to go to and get a result from and the fact that it will be Dean Smith’s first game in charge gives it an added edge, however, the travelling Swans will be confident of a result and will hope that three points a handful of goals can make the long journey to Birmingham well worth it.
