Aston Villa’s search for a new manager looks as though it will continue for a little longer.
Thierry Henry had been heavily fancied by many to be named as the man to replace Steve Bruce at Villa Park, however, that now does not appear to be the case.
According to Gregg Evans, the Arsenal legend has decided to reject the offer from the Championship club.
Looks like Thierry Henry is going to Monaco. Rejected #avfc That's one off the list.

It is understood that he could head to AS Monaco instead, the club where it all began for him in professional football, and manage them.
The vacancy is expected to be available imminently with the Ligue One side expected to sack Leonardo Jardim in the very near future.
It now appears that Aston Villa will need to return to the drawing board and look for the ideal man to turn their terrible run of form around.
The managerial saga keeps taking new twists and turns and it now remains to be seen who Aston Villa decide to employ.
Henry had looked the most likely to be in the dugout, but with the news that he could now head to Monaco emerging, it seems unlikely he will be at the Championship outfit.
Thankfully, for the Villans, there is no domestic football for another week and a half, so it will give them time to find their successor to Bruce.
