Worrying news for Rangers over talented forward

A recent run of good form has had the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern celebrating like there’s no tomorrow as Mark Warburton begins to establish the club in the top flight.

The local Gers have been impressed by the former Brentford manager’s work in turning things around after the ugly Joey Barton saga, beating both Hearts and Aberdeen to sit in second place.

However, reports from the Birmingham Mail have made the punters propping up the bear sweat a little in the buildup to the January market.

They claim Aston Villa forward Rushian Hepburn-Murphy has been offered a new deal in the Midlands and there are reportedly indications he will agree to it.

While Steve Bruce hasn’t given the 18-year-old much in the way of game time during his time at Villa Park, there’s little doubt he’s a huge talent.

Both Jonathan Kodija and Jordan Ayew will leave for the African Cup of Nations next month, meaning the talented teen could be set for more minutes on the pitch.

How big a miss could this turn out to be for Rangers? Let us know below..
