‘Yet again we look like a joke,’ ‘Absolutely diabolical’ – Aston Villa fans outraged with latest setback

Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern are generally feeling pleased about things at their club at the moment.

Of course, things are looking much rosier than they have done for the last few seasons with there at least being a sense of stability surrounding the club now.

Indeed, Steve Bruce looks as though he has fully got to grips with the club and his players now and many here by the bar are expecting a play-off challenge at least next season.

This year, though, is all about carrying momentum into the new campaign and that will surely be enhanced by the fantastic support the team boasts both home and away.

Villa fans have remained loyal to their club through a lot of late but, when things go wrong, they’ll certainly let them know about it.

Indeed, the club have had ticket issues of late – not for the first time – and fans on Twitter have been left rightly angry and disappointed.
