The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern are pretty disappointed after hearing news about their current goalkeeping situation…
According to Ben Dinnery on Twitter, Arsenal are going to be forced into utilising Emi Martinez once again on Monday – with Petr Cech and David Ospina both unlikely to be fit for the game.

This is a disappointing blow for the Gunners, with Martinez’s lack of experience certainly a problem for Arsene Wenger. At just 24-years-old, and having made just 5 appearances for Arsenal – he clearly isn’t ready to be thrown in at the deep end.
That being said, he performed well for Arsenal earlier this week, and our landlord thinks that he is deserving of another appearance. Indeed, the Gunners strolled to a 3-0 win against West Ham, with Martinez’ fine form between the sticks proving very important.
The game against Crystal Palace will be a tough one for Arsenal, given the impressive form of the Eagles in recent weeks.
