Bad news for Chelsea fans, star hints at possible exit from Stamford Bridge

HazardChelsea suffered a seemingly critical blow in their quest to claim Champions League football through a top four finish, after they could only manage a 1-1 draw with Manchester United, to leave their fans present in the Transfer Tavern to drown their sorrows.

With the pub quiz in full flow here in the Tavern one Chelsea fan spotted an article in the London Evening Standard that claims out of sorts midfielder Eden Hazard could be set for a summer departure.

After an abysmal season for the Belgian in which he has mustered just one goal, the 25-year-old has admitted that he would love to play under Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid, sparking speculation that he could seek a move in the summer.

Although the player himself claims he is happy at Stamford Bridge, he also claims he would love to play under the former France legend at some point in his career, after growing up worshiping the current Madrid boss.

One Chelsea fan is setting up the table for a frame of pool here in the Tavern, and he isn’t too concerned about the thought of Hazard leaving, claiming that his heart hasn’t been in any of his performances for the Blues this season and the money raised can be spent on someone of a similar world class ilk.

Chelsea fans… Can the club cope with the departure of Hazard? Let us know below!
