Crystal Palace fans in the Transfer Tavern will be celebrating that the club will be in the Premier League next season, however, it may not be enough to keep one of their star players.
Roy Hodgson managed to do what appeared very unlikely when he took over after just seven games into the campaign, although it appears he could have an even bigger battle on his hands this summer.
The Sun are claiming that Wilfried Zaha is prepared to quit the Selhurst Park outfit as wants to test himself once again at a top-club and play European football once again.
The Ivorian had a spell at Manchester United which did not go according to plan, however, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City have all started to show an interest in the 25-year-old. Zaha has told of his desire to once again compete at the top-level, believing that he is now mature enough to do well and not have a report of his time at Old Trafford.
The winger has been crucial to the Eagles’ efforts this season and the locals in the bar will be disappointed to see him leave, should an offer too good to turn down come in for the player, and will be wanting the club to do all they can to convince him to stay.
One of the best players outside the top six, it’ll be hard to keep Zaha going forward.
