Some more potentially concerning news for the West Ham fans who are lining up for a drink in the Transfer Tavern has emerged after a difficult week both on and off the pitch over in East London. Indeed, our resident Hammers are just waiting for it all to end!
Still, according to the Sun, West Ham’s starlet Domingos Quina has been identified as a transfer target for German giants, Borussia Dortmund. Most notably, the Bundesliga outfit managed to sign Jadon Sancho from current Premier League leaders, Manchester City. Our landlord thinks a similar scenario could unfold with regards to Quina.
The teenager has been limited to cup appearances for the Hammers this season. However, it is believed that the 18-year-old is highly regarded by those at the club.
Quina transferred to the Irons from London rivals, Chelsea two seasons ago. To date, he has attained six first-team appearances for West Ham though perhaps a move to a bonafide European giant could prove tempting for the Portuguese.
Our landlord is a firm believer in youth players and considering the troubles that West Ham are currently facing; they must ensure that they keep their most talented prospects at the club – they might need them next season.
The hammers should do everything in their power to try and keep Quina from departing.
