‘Barca are scumbags’ – Liverpool fans on Twitter react to big transfer rumour

The Liverpool fans have been reacting to the news that one of France’s most reliable journalists, Mohamed Bouhafsi, has claimed on his show on SFR Sport 1, via the Liverpool Echo, that both Nabil Fekir and Ousmane Dembele could be on their way to Merseyside in summer. The young pair have bags of talent, although they’ve both suffered from injury problems in their short careers.

Jurgen Klopp will be looking to bring in some supporting forwards capable of rivalling their incredible front three this summer. The club has been linked with Lyon’s Nabil Fekir and Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele. Fekir is the most likely of the two to up stakes and join Anfield after he came through the Lyon academy to join the senior squad in summer 2013. He’s been long touted with a Premier League move and Klopp’s style of football would suit the 24-year-old down to a tee.

Ousmane Dembele would much more unrealistic option for The Reds. The French winger left Jurgen Klopp’s old side, Borussia Dortmund, last summer for Barcelona for a fee north on the £100 million mark, leading many fans to question why he would leave the Nou Camp after just one injury-hit season in Spain. If the winger was to join Liverpool it would be strange mix with him battling for a place with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
