Barcelona eye shock move for Chelsea striker

FalcaoChelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are stunned by the latest reports from Spanish publication Don Balon, which suggest Spanish giants Barcelona want their misfit striker.

The Catalan side have been plagued by injury problems so far this season, with the most high-profile absentee being Lionel Messi, which has led Luis Enrique to target forward additions in the January transfer window.

Shockingly, one target is stated to be Chelsea loanee Radamel Falcao; a player who has struggled in his two years in England, scoring just four goals during his season at Manchester United last term.

Barcelona are said to be long-term admirers of Falcao, owned by Ligue 1 side Monaco, and want to bring the Colombian to the Nou Camp to provide back-up to the attacking trio of Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.

If Falcao was to move to Barcelona then Chelsea and Monaco would have to agree to cut-short his loan deal, whilst Luis Enrique’s side must pick-up his huge wage bill.

Chelsea fans are the bar indicate they would drive Falcao to Barcelona themselves, as they are far from convinced with the talents of the South American star.

Chelsea fans, was signing Falcao on-loan a mistake? Let us know in the comments below!
