The Manchester City fans in the Transfer Tavern are delighted to see that the club are set to sign both Riyad Mahrez and Jorginho for just over £100 million, according to the BBC. The club won the Premier League with a record 100 points, although Pep Guardiola isn’t letting up as he continues to sign players ahead of the new season after the World Cup.

Both Mahrez and Jorginho have been long-term transfer targets for the Sky Blues, and now with both of them set to join the club, the fans can start planning the 2018/19 Premier League champions parade. Jorginho has been one of Napoli’s best players over the last few seasons, having dictated the midfield for Maurizio Sarri’s side as they challenged Juventus for the Scudetto this season.
Meanwhile, the flashier of the two has been Mahrez without a doubt. The Algerian star has been one of the most dangerous players in the Premier League over the last few seasons, having shot himself into the limelight when Leicester City won the Premier League back in 2016. The livewire winger would be an improvement on any team in the world at the moment, be it as a squad player or a first-team star, and now The Etihad faithful are set to reap the rewards from having his services.
