The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate for Danny Rose to return to the fold at White Hart Lane…
The English defender has been missing for several months, owing to a long-term injury problem, leaving the Tottenham faithful in the pub concerned that he could miss the rest of the season.
Rose is, of course, crucial to proceedings at Tottenham – having formed an excellent partnership with Kyle Walker on either flank of the Tottenham defence.
The Lilywhites in the Transfer Tavern were delighted, then, when Tottenham confirmed on their official Twitter page that Rose is making good progress and is likely to begin outdoor exercises as of next week. Whilst this isn’t quite a return date, it does suggest that Rose is improving and getting closer to making a first-team return – and this can only be seen as good news.
Expectedly, the Tottenham fans on Twitter have had a very similar response – with many delighted at the news. One overarching theme, though, is that many fans want Rose back or Tottenham’s FA Cup clash against Chelsea at Wembley. Indeed, the Blues are flying – and Spurs will need their best team to stand a chance of winning…
Please get Danny Rose back for Wembley
