Belgian star holds talks over summer Stamford Bridge return

Thibaut Courtois (Chelsea)Chelsea fans are looking up from their depression here in the Football Transfer Tavern and are keen to hear what the Daily Star has to say about their goalkeeping situation.

According to the publication, Thibaut Courtois has in fact admitted to holding talks with manager Jose Mourinho over his future and could well return next season.

Courtois has seen his stock rise higher and higher since joining the Blues – despite only having been to London once for a medical and never having played in a Chelsea shirt!

This is of course down to the sensational form of Petr Cech and our punters in the tavern are spilt down the middle when it comes to having an opinion on bringing Courtois back to the club.

The Belgian has made it very clear that he will not return to sit on the bench and play understudy to Cech and we fully understand this.

After starring for Atletico Madrid over the past three seasons, we even thought that a fourth loan spell to Diego Simeone’s La Liga winners may well be on the cards – or even a swap deal involving forward Diego Costa.

Chelsea fans. Do you think Mourinho will bring Courtois back this summer or is it still a better idea to stick with Petr Cech as number one? Let us know your thoughts below.
