West Ham United managed to secure their positive results of the season against Everton yesterday at Goodison Park.
The Hammers found themselves at the foot of the table prior to kick-off today, but a fine performance on Merseyside has offered supporters some hope. Although, it looks as if Manuel Pellegrini’s side were rejected in the summer, as according to Telefoot, Hatem Ben Arfa rejected a move to West Ham in the summer.
West Ham United were turned down by Hatem Ben Arfa in the summer, as the French midfielder chose to join Rennes instead.
Although, the Hammers weren’t the only team that faced rejection as he also turned down moves to China and Portugal.
Indeed, the London club secured the services of a number of players during the summer transfer window as part of a summer splurge, so they won’t be too bothered about missing out on Ben Arfa.
Hatem Ben Arfa was a special player during his time at Newcastle United and will always be remembered for his trickery, but he just didn’t fancy a return to the Premier League during the summer.
The Hammers managed to bring in the likes of Andriy Yarmolenko and Felipe Anderson during the summer, so they won’t mind their failure to sign Hatem Ben Arfa.
