Newcastle United have definitely improved over the course of the last month, but they’re still struggling to secure all three points on a regular basis.
The Magpies could be very busy in the January transfer window if Rafa Benitez receives backing from Mike Ashley, as there’re a number of changes that need to be made in almost all areas.
One position that has been a big problems for Newcastle United over the past season or so has been at the pinnacle of the attack, which is why Newcastle are eyeing a £3 million move for Kemar Roofe.
Indeed, the Englishman has been prolific this season, scoring 13 goals in 19 appearances, but it could be a slight gamble for the Magpies to bring a Championship striker up to the Premier League as he has no top-flight experience.
With that in mind, Newcastle must go for broke and sign this DUO…
Daniel Sturridge has struggled to work his way into Jurgen Klopp’s plans at Liverpool in the current campaign, despite producing a number of vital goals.
Indeed, the Englishman has plenty of experience in the Premier League and has shown that he can ensure a consistent flow of goals in previous years, which is something that only Salomon Rondon has managed this season.
The forward may be available for loan this month but a permanent move could also be an option, as the Reds are already stacked with world-class talent in attacking areas.
Bas Dost has established himself as one of the most prolific strikers in world football over the past season or so, scoring 34 goals last season and 15 goals in 14 appearances in the current campaign.
The forward is very similar to Rondon in a way as he excels at holding the ball up, has an eagle eye for goal and is a big threat from set pieces.
So, the Magpies should go all out to sign him this month as he has already shown that he can score an outrageous amount of goals, both domestically and in Europe.
