Newcastle United fans in the Transfer Tavern will want to see the club add a couple more additions to the team this summer as they look to remain competitive in the Premier League.
Rafa Benitez has already turned Martin Dubravka’s loan spell into a permanent deal, whilst he has also added Ki Sung-yueng from Swansea City on a free transfer.
The Spaniard is desperate to add some attacking bodies to his side in order to ensure they can be a threat going forward, however, he has not had any joy at the present moment, although that could change soon.
The Newcastle Chronicle are claiming that Benitez is to continue to push for a season-long loan deal for Kenedy, following his successful time at St. James’ Park during the latter half of last year’s campaign.
It is believed the Brazilian is one of their main priorities this summer, and having been told it could cost them £30million to sign him permanently, they are now preparing to take him temporarily once again.
Kenedy was a revelation for the Magpies last season as he helped take them away from the relegation zone and help the club finish inside the top half of the table. The Newcastle locals would be delighted to see him back in the black-and-white stripes once again and will be hopeful they can strike a deal with Chelsea for him.
