The Transfer Tavern really has been abuzz with discussion and debate today with the news coming out about police raids and manager charges.
Certainly, with Sky Sports reporting the investigation on Newcastle and West Ham by the police and then revealing that Sunderland manager David Moyes had been charged by the FA over his recent comments to a reporter, things have been dramatic today.
Indeed, football in the north-east has been really hit hard and that is surely something that could only get worse with Sunderland and Middlesbrough on the brink of relegation at the moment.
