Bid launched as Burnley, Palace, Sunderland battle for international defender

There’s a growing sense of anticipation over a transfer battle for Robbie Brady with The Mirror claiming Burnley have launched a bid.

The Irish international is one of the most talented players outside the top flight in this country but with his current club Norwich City finding it hard going in the Championship this season, he could fancy a move.

He’s certainly not short of options either with the report referring to the fact that Burnley are joined by Crystal Palace and Sunderland in the chase for his services.

The Clarets’ bid is thought to be at £13 million which highlights just how much spending power even the lower clubs in the division have and so now we should sit back and watch what unfolds.

When Brady was in the Premier League last season he certainly suggested he was good enough to stay there despite his side going down and at the moment it’s Burnley who are looking most likely to be there next season, too.

Crystal Palace and Sunderland are both battling relegation at the moment and so they’ll have to convince Brady they can get out of that according to our landlord.

Where should Brady go? Let us know below!
