Manchester City fans are more than a little bit enthusiastic here in the Football Transfer Tavern as it is claimed by The Independent that they are about to face a fight to hold onto former Arsenal player Samir Nasri.
The French international has not exactly become one of the City fans favourite players and now it seems that a decent bid may well come in for the player from French giants Paris Saint-Germain. The club managed by Carlo Ancelotti are flying high in Ligue 1 and are now favourites for the title. They do however want to build on their exit from the Champions League and improve as next season approaches hence the move for not only Nasri but also for Newcastle’s Yohan Cabaye.
Despite having players such as Thiago Sliva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic in their ranks, the Parisian club want to add the cream of the crop to fulfill their ambitions and feel that a move for both players may well do that.
Are either Cabaye or Nasri headed for the Parc Des Princes this summer? Rate this rumour below.
