West Ham United have turned their season around in recent weeks with a string of solid results that have lifted them away from the danger of the relegation zone, much to the delight of their long-suffering supporters.
The Hammers were one of the standout teams of last season, with Slaven Bilic making a quality start to life in the managerial role at the club’s old Upton Park ground.
Several of the club’s supporters who can be often found in the Tavern are not overly keen on the club’s new London Stadium, although they are fond of the team’s resurgence up the Premier League table.
West Ham travel to face Watford this afternoon in another winnable game for the club and their fans are enjoying a couple of pints before getting on the coach to Vicarage Road, with several already looking a little bit worse for wear.
