The Celtic fans in the Transfer Tavern have been laughing off rumours that have surfaced on Sky Sports Scotland, claiming that Bournemouth have made Kieran Tierney their top left-back target in the coming window. Eddie Howe’s side joins the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in the hunt for the impressive young Scot.
Bournemouth make Celtic's Kieran Tierney their top left-back target this summer- Sky Sports News understands: https://t.co/RDc9qegXwc pic.twitter.com/on9CKS232m

Tierney has done everything right in his last few seasons as Celtic march on towards Scottish football’s first-ever double treble. Brendan Rodgers’s side have swept up every trophy available to them since the ex-Liverpool man was appointed and can make it 6/6 if Tierney and co can overcome Motherwell at Hampden Park in the Scottish Cup final on the 19th May in just over a week’s time.
The best way to bow out of a club is with a trophy, and if the young left-back can end his Celtic career with back-to-back trebles then he’ll be a well-loved figure whenever he returns to Glasgow. Bournemouth could also provide the Scot with a platform to impress some of the big hitters across Europe. If he can impress and continue his marauding style down the left flank then it could be a matter of time before he finds himself at a Champions League club.

Ain’t that cute the little EPL clubs with all their money think they can just make an offer and our players will come running. If KT ever leaves us it’ll be to a lot bigger club that bloody Bournemouth.

Might not be as crazy as it sounds. Like Andy Robertson, the big English clubs might not be willing to spend big on him til they know he can play consistently at a high level. Fully expect him to join a top Euro club at some stage but Bournemouth could be a stepping stone.

As I have already said this morning, Bournemouth?

A bigger club than celtic and a lot less unsavory baggage.
