The Mirror Online are claiming that Blackburn Rovers will sign 25 year old Honduras international Osman Chavez on the cheap when the transfer window opens next month.
Chavez, who was turned down by Celtic after a trial in Scotland, has been on trial from Honduran club Platense at Ewood Park and is expecting to be offered a contract, revealing:
“Of all my options in Europe the strongest is from Blackburn and I hope to sign.”
Blackburn have a number of defenders on their books but manager Sam Allardyce is believed to be eager to strengthen his squad in every way possible. Chavez’s arrival could be halted though by problems with his work permit application as he has not been a regular for Honduras.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
