Blackburn look to beat Premier League clubs to experienced Scot

Initial rumours indicated that Blackburn Rovers were demonstrating a keen interest in the Celtic man, although reports today from various sources have suggested that Premier League counterparts Norwich, West Brom and Bournemouth are looking to snatch the striker from their grasp.

The 29-year old is available on a free transfer this summer, which has prompted serious interest from several English clubs.

Mulgrew is an extremely versatile player, with the Scotsman capable of playing at centre back, left back and in central midfield.
