The News of the World are claiming that Blackburn Rovers have agreed a deal with Hajduk Split to sign Bosnian midfielder Senijad Ibricic for a fee of around £3 million when the January transfer window opens next month.
Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is believed to have watched the 24 year old during Bosnia’s World Cup play-off games against Portugal and is set to be very pleased with what he saw.
A deal was reportedly thrashed out to secure Ibricic as soon as the window opens. The attacking midfielder, who was reportedly a transfer target for German side FC Cologne recently, has spent his entire professional career in Croatia and has been in great form this season with 7 goals from 17 games for Hajduk.
Ibricic has been a member of the Bosnian national team since 2006 and has made 19 appearances to date, scoring 3 goals.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
