Blind isn’t Manchester United’s only Dutch target this summer

Kevin Strootman Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal seems to be adopting an ‘if its not broke, don’t fix it’ mentality with his summer transfer purchases.

Having read the latest copy of the London Evening Standard, punters in the Football Transfer Tavern think that is a good idea.

The Red Devils boss has already been linked with a host of Dutch players – namely Ajax’s Daley Blind – and given his working relationship with them, we are not shocked in the slightest.

Now it seems that Kevin Strootman is once again being linked with a move to Old Trafford with van Gaal reportedly keen on luring the Roma star to the club.

Injuries curtailed his World Cup hopes but as one of our Serie A experts notes, Strootman is a top quality player when fit and we certainly think he could offer a thing or two should United put in a bid for him.

As we know with the majority of clubs from Serie A, if the money is right, they will consider selling.

Manchester United fans. Is Strootman someone you are keen on buying or do you think van Gaal will be changing your red shirts to orange next? Let us know your thoughts below.
