It’s been a busy week so far in the Football Transfer Tavern, although Liverpool fans have taken a backseat without any European football.
However talkSPORT have some speculation that concerns them as the publication reports that Reds target Juan Iturbe could extend his loan at Hellas Verona for another season.
The 20-year-old has often been excellent on loan at Verona in Serie A this season, and the Porto youngster has now unsurprisingly attracted attention from Europe’s biggest clubs.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has reportedly targeted the youngster as he continues to stock-pile some of the finest and most promising talent from around Europe.
The Argentine attacker could now stay at his loan club with Verona desperate to keep him.
Porto, however, could have other ideas as they stand to make around £12 million for their youngster in the summer with Arsenal and Everton also reportedly interested. This could still see him being sold with a possible bidding war on the horizon.
