According to reports on Clubcall, Bolton manager Neil Lennon is interested in bringing Gary Hooper to the club.
Hooper is of course no stranger to Lennon who was in charge of Celtic during the strikers prolific spell at the club. Since moving to Norwich, Hooper has not found the same goal scoring touch that he had up in Scotland and has struggled over the last few months to feature for the Premier League side.
Hooper attracted interest from Fulham and Sheffield Wednesday before the transfer window closed, and a failed bid by the latter saw Hooper remain at Carrow Road.
Lennon would love to add his former striker to his ranks, and hopes some sort of deal can be done with his parent club, as his side is struggling for funds, and would not even be able to afford the players wages if he was to join on loan.
The Bolton fans in The Transfer Tavern are hopeful that a deal can be agreed between the two sides, that will ensure the player will turn out for their club at The Macron Stadium.
Norwich fans would you be happy to see Hooper leave the club? Let us know in the comments below! Can he help Bolton stay up? Worth having a bet in Australia?
