The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are enjoying life at the moment. They’re impressing in the Premier League, and this weekend they have another opportunity to prove their worth in the English top flight.
A crunch clash with Liverpool looms, and if Man Utd can seal a win, they’ll be in a very good position to finish inside the top four this season.
Fortunately, ahead of the game, Jose Mourinho has been handed a rather significant boost. As confirmed by Mourinho, via the official Man Utd Twitter page, both Eric Bailly and Marouane Fellaini are in with a chance of featuring this weekend, with the former now fully fit, whilst the latter is working to that end.

It’s a very timely boost for the Red Devils, given the significance of the fixture. Liverpool and Man Utd have a storied history against one another, and so a win is important for reasons far beyond the points on offer.
Bailly has made 8 Premier League starts this season, whilst Fellaini has made just 3.
This is a huge boost for Man Utd.
They’ve really struggled defensively this season, and so the full return of Eric Bailly will be hugely welcomed. He’ll likely come straight into the team, and continue there for the rest of the campaign – provided that he can stay fit.
Fellaini, meanwhile, whilst not a regular starter, will have a role to play as the season closes out – particularly late on into games. Mourinho seems to rate him highly.
Great news all round for Man Utd.
