Boss linked with Manchester United job is wanted by Valencia

jose mourinhojose mourinho00Valencia sacked manager Gary Neville yesterday following an alarming run of results which ensured that the ex-Manchester United defender, went down in history as the club’s worst manager ever.

Talk in the Transfer Tavern has turned towards who might take on the role next, with the landlord spotting several articles in the usual papers, regarding the vacancy.

The Sun offers the most intriguing piece of news, as they are claiming that the Spanish outfit want Jose Mourinho to turn his back on Manchester United and return to Spain instead.

Should the ex-Chelsea manager go to Valencia it would represent a remarkable coup for the Mestalla-based outfit, although billionaire owner Peter Lim is hopeful of attracting a world class boss.

One Manchester United supporter is playing pool here in the Tavern and he doesn’t think for one minute that Mourinho will swap the chance to manager the Red Devils for Valencia, stating that the size of the clubs is not even worth thinking about for the Portuguese boss.

Manchester United fans, are you worried that your potential next boss could be soon off the market? Would he really consider Valencia over United?
