Boss suggests star regrets summer move to Chelsea

PedroChelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern haven’t had much to be cheerful about this season and things behind the scenes don’t appear to be much better.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has seen his squad struggle with injury problems this season, including one to star-man Lionel Messi, and stated his belief recently that Pedro Rodriguez may regret moving to Chelsea.

“We know what the situation was with Pedro, we understand it, it’s logical, he wanted to play more and over the course of a player’s career you have to make decisions. Perhaps now he might want to change that decision I don’t know.”

The Spanish international moved to Stamford Bridge in a £22m move over the summer but has struggled for form since scoring on his debut, a 3-2 victory over West Brom. He cited a lack of opportunities as a huge part of his decision to leave Catalonia- but it appears he would have had more opportunities at the Nou Camp this term.

With just two Premier League victories in the opening eight matches, the Blues sit 16th in the league and look extremely unlikely to retain their Premier League crown.
