Arsene Wenger announced just over two weeks ago that he would be stepping down at the end of the season, leading to the managerial rumour mill starting up again for another top club. Arsenal haven’t had to look for a new gaffer since they appointed Wenger 22 years ago. In that time the club has won three Premier League crowns and seven FA Cups, making Wenger one of the Premier League’s most successful ever managers.
The club has been linked with a number of top coaches around Europe, as well as some lesser-known names. Patrick Vieira and Mikel Arteta were both heavily linked with the club as they make their first steps into management and with their rich playing history having both captained the club before they hung up their boots. Now though, with Wenger’s last home game at the club behind him following the 5-0 win over Burnley yesterday, the hunt for a new gaffer will be hotting up for Ivan Gazidis at Arsenal.
You can read our local Gunners’ verdict on their managerial hunt now:
I'm confident that either of those potential managers could win Arsenal the FA Cup again within the next 3-5 years whilst maintaining a solid 5th place in the league

Allegri

Luis Enrique is a right man to do this job.

Both are great managers but I as a fan will prefer Luis Enrique

Please not allegri, unless we get conte in first to build an unbeatable team and then hand it over to him to take the plaudits

Translated: The purported £50,000,000 transfer budget isn’t enough and Kroenke needs to inject some much needed cash.

At least one centre half a new holding midfielder with santi back get rid of bellerin and ozil and with allegri or Enrique we can make top 4

Both would be unreal appointments
