Bournemouth fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been given cause for another round at the bar courtesy of some interesting transfer news which has appeared in one of the daily rags.
The Daily Mail are stating that the Cherries have launched an audacious loan swoop for Stephan El Shaarawy, who is set to return to AC Milan from a loan spell with Monaco, where he was in average form.
The Milanese forward has seen his career stall since opting to take up the loan spell in France and Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is keen to offer an olive branch to the Italy international, as he looks to return to form.
A couple of Bournemouth fans over by the smoking area are having a constructive debate about whether or not it would be a good move for the Cherries.
One fan thinks a signing of his quality can only be a good thing for a club the size of Bournemouth, whilst another is not quite so sure whether El Shaarawy is in good enough form to be gracing the Premier League at this moment in time.
Cherries fans… What do you make to this news? Pie in the sky or a genuine possibility?
