The Bournmouth fans who are gathered at the bar in The Transfer Tavern this evening are discussing reports concerning their managers future at the club.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that Eddie Howe will snub the chance to manager Southampton should they make an approach.
Howe is top of Southampton’s list of replacements should current boss Ronald Koeman decide to take the job at Everton.
The Bournemouth manager is committed to seeing the job through at the club after taking them from the bottom tier of the football league to the Premier League.
The major reasoning he is not willing to even contemplate a move to Southampton is the fact that he will have to relinquish control of transfers and that is something he has free reign of at current side Bournemouth.
Howe has earnt himself a reputation of being one of the brightest young English managers in the game today and it is firmly believed that one day he will become a future England manager.
Our landlord in The Tavern is pleased for Bournemouth that Howe looks as though he is committed to their club and that the club will improve on last season’s finish should he remain in charge of the club.
