Bournemouth fans here in the Transfer Tavern are loving every minute of their maiden season in the Premier League and can regularly be found sampling several of the landlord’s finest real ales after their latest game.
They have more cause to be optimistic with some of the players they continue to be linked with during the January transfer window and the latest player to apparently be interesting the Cherries is Leeds starlet Lewis Cook.
One punter over by the pool table has found an article in the Daily Mail which indicated that Eddie Howe could be about to secure the signing of the central midfielder with Leeds apparently keen to offload the starlet.
Cook has really stepped up to the first-team plate this season for the Whites, but their owner is keen to sell in order to balance the books.
Our landlord believes Cook is destined for the very top and thinks a move to the Premier League would hand him the platform to showcase his skills.
Bournemouth fans… Would you welcome Cook to the south coast? Where would he fit into your team?
