Bournemouth should do all they can to sign this 21-year-old winger

Bournemouth supporters in the Transfer Tavern are still bitterly disappointed that they lost to Manchester City in dramatic circumstances…

The Cherries performed defiantly as they almost denied Pep Guardiola’s team all three points on the weekend. Ultimately, a contentious Raheem Sterling winner proved to be the difference between the two sides. Nonetheless, Eddie Howe’s men can take great pride and optimism from their performance which saw them battle relentlessly with one of the best teams in the Premier League.

Eddie Howe has performed miraculously throughout his time as Bournemouth manager, the modern day epitome of a fairy-tale story.

However, our landlord believes that his side lacks creativity – especially following the departure of Jack Wilshere – and he’s highlighted Leicester’s Demarai Gray as a player who can inject creativity and exuberance into Bournemouth’s starting eleven.

Despite his poor goal scoring record – Gray has only scored two goals in 55 games for the Foxes – his talent is evident for all to admire.

The 21-year-old is a menacing winger who displays great willingness to take a defender on in 1v1 situations. He also provides a substantial threat on the counter-attack due to his tremendous dribbling quality and his lethal speed.

As previously mentioned, the number of goals he scores must improve. However, it is likely that this figure will increase if rewarded with consistent involvement in a team’s starting eleven. At his age, Gray’s potential is vast, and if his talent is nurtured correctly, he could become one of the most excavating talents in the Premier League.
