Bournemouth are once again having a decent enough season in the Premier League, and while current form would suggest they could struggle, we think they've got enough in the tank to once again stay in the top flight.

Cherries manager Eddie Howe has made a good habit of picking up top young players in recent seasons, and the likes of David Brooks, Lewis Cook, and Callum Wilson have all joined from the lower leagues and gone on to be big successes with the club.

We at the Tavern think that a few more players from the Championship might well be on Howe's radar, and one man we think in particular who will be catching the eye is Aston Villa midfielder Conor Hourihane.

Ever since Dean Smith took over the club from Steve Bruce, the Irish midfielder has seemingly come into his own, and has really begun to the show the sort of form which he displayed at Barnsley some years back.

Hourihane is really starting to dominate in the middle of the park for Smith's men, and with his free kick ability, calmness in possession, and ability to produce match winning moments, he could well be ready for the step into the top flight.

With the aforementioned Cook out injured for the season, Hourihane could well be the perfect signing for the club as they look to continue their excellent stay in the top flight thus far.

Bournemouth fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know!
