Bournemouth continue to go along ok in the top flight, and despite a miserable run of form they appear well on course to maintain their top flight status once more.
The Cherries are looking stronger by the season in terms of squad depth, with Eddie Howe not averse to splashing the cash and bringing in the right sort of players to improve his squad.
However, with the club playing so well and their brand of football being so attractive, some of their players are going to catch the eye of some of the bigger clubs in the top flight, and none more so than striker Callum Wilson, who has already being attracting the attention of the likes of Chelsea.
We here in the Tavern feel there are adequate replacements out there though for Wilson if he does go, and one man we feel Bournemouth could make a move for is Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge.
The England man is set to be out of contract in the summer, and with little sign of a new deal in the offing at Anfield, he could well be on his way, with The Vitality Stadium the ideal sort of destination.
Injuries have robbed Sturridge of his best years at Anfield, but he is still young enough to continue to forge a good Premier League career, and he would slot in nicely up top for the Cherries.
Still with a keen eye for a goal and with all the tricks in and around the box to create openings for himself, Sturridge could prove to be a fine addition for Eddie Howe if he can indeed snap him up come the summer.
Bournemouth fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
