HITC are reporting that the club have 29-year-old Ricardo Vaz Te training with them as they look to plug the gaps left by the injuries to Callum Wilson and Max Gradel.
With Vaz Te being a free agent it means he can be signed straight away, and it appears that Eddie Howe sees the player as a suitable short-term option.
The forward was released by West Ham at the end of last season and has been searching for a new side since. He has already trained with West Bromwich Albion this season but did not do enough to secure a deal.
Vaz Te was linked with a trial at Sunderland last week but it appears that Bournemouth have stepped in before any approach made by Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce.
The Bournemouth fans in The Transfer Tavern are not convinced that Vaz Te is quality enough to plug the gaps left by both Wilson and Gradel, and feel that if he wasn’t good enough for West Brom he’s not good enough for them.
Bournemouth fans, is Vaz Te a good signing for you? Let us know in the comments below!
