Leeds fans on Twitter keen for O’Kane exit

So far this summer has one of ups and downs for Leeds United. The club has just three days left to complete any permanent transfers and according to The Yorkshire Evening Post, there could be one more outgoing this summer as Charlton are looking into the signing of Eunan O’Kane.

O’Kane switched Dean Court for Elland Road back in 2016 when he made the move to Leeds from Bournemouth. The midfielder is a well-established player in the EFL having managed over 25 appearances throughout the Championship, League One and League Two. In his career, the 28-year-old is lucky enough to have played for Ireland seven times and he’ll be hoping if he stays with Leeds he can help them towards promotion.

If the experienced Irishman does make the switch to The Valley, it will be another title-chasing season for him, as Charlton are aiming to be right up there come to the end of the League One season. O’Kane now has a serious decision to make surrounding his future. Last season the midfield man made 32 appearances for the club in the Championship, chipping in with three assists, however, towards the end of the season his game time was limited and it could be a sign that he’s on his way out if he won’t be playing under Marcelo Bielsa this season.

As you can see, the fans are all desperate to see O’Kane shipped off and some have even offered to drive him from Leeds to Charlton.
