The 2018/19 Premier League campaign has concluded, and Bournemouth have managed to secure their place in English football's top flight for another year.

It was the Cherries' fourth season at the summit following their promotion from the Championship back in 2015, with Eddie Howe, Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser all taking most of the acclaim for the south coast club's latest achievement.

Under Howe, Wilson and Fraser have been excellent and are now being linked with moves away from the Vitality Stadium (Sky Sports).

But as well as the attacking duo, it has also been another season where Joshua King has played his part.

The 27-year-old has since come in for some in-house recognition, with Bournemouth's official club website highlighting that he is the club's all-time leading goalscorer in the Premier League.

King's 12 Premier League goals this term makes it a second campaign in English football's top tier where he has reached double figures.

Back in the 2016/17 season, King found the back of the net on 16 occasions as Bournemouth went on to finish in ninth place, showing the sort of firepower he has brought to Howe's side since joining from Blackburn Rovers.

Bearing that in mind, the Norway international probably deserves way more recognition than what he is currently getting, perhaps even as much as Wilson and Fraser.

This summer, the club may go on to lose the duo as the Premier League elite continue to circle. But Howe can take some comfort knowing that in King, he still has another forward who can grab goals for his side.
