Brighton man to Spurs? Pochettino needs to ensure he snaps up this classy defender in the summer

Spurs and Brighton are at different ends of the spectrum in terms of the Premier League table, but both have had decent seasons in their own right.

For Brighton, survival is the only objective, while Spurs are looking to secure a top four spot and a place back in the Champions League after losing out in heartbreaking fashion to Juventus earlier in the campaign.

The summer will represent a big challenge for both clubs, who will be keen to add new faces which can assist them in their differing goals, but it is Spurs who will need to add some real quality to the ranks if they are to progress, and our landlord thinks that signing a certain Brighton player can do that.

That player? Defender Lewis Dunk, who has been in hugely impressive this season and carried his form in the Championship into the Premier League, ascerting himself as one of the top performers in the central defensive position in the league.

Dunk looks an assured presence for the Seagulls, and appears to have all the ability to go a long way in the game and make it right to the top.

Classy with the ball but first and foremost, a good solid out and out defender, Dunk is quality performer who still has plenty of time on side in terms of development too.

With Spurs likely to be looking for new central defensive options in the coming seasons, Dunk could prove to be the perfect signing for Pochettino and his team.
