Brighton & Hove Albion fans are gathered around the jukebox in The Transfer Tavern this evening discussing reports that a loan star could extend his stay with the club.
The Argus is reporting that Manchester United reserve team coach Warren Joyce is convinced that the club will leave the youngster on loan at the club, rather than call him back to Old Trafford. Manchester United reserve team coach Joyce said:
“He’s hit the ground running and taken the opportunities to score well. Obviously they’re near the top of the league and it’s good experience for him. If he can manage to stay in the team and contribute for a side that gets promotion, it will be great for him.”
The news has eased fears that Wilson could make a return to Manchester after just a month, and with United keen for the youngster to gain the experience of being in a successful side they could even keep Wilson until the end of the season- which will boost their chances of promotion to the Premier League.
The Brighton fans in The Transfer Tavern are delighted with Joyce’s comments and look forward to seeing Wilson pull on their shirt for sometime yet.
